Who are we????
The Pinto Horse Association of Ohio (PtHAO) is a charter affilliated with the Pinto Horse Associaton of America. We offer members from Ohio and many other surrounding states the opportunity to work together to promote Pino horses, ponies, and miniature horses. PtHAO also offers a variety of activities and the services to members and non-members, including a series of multi-judged Pinto Horse Shows held from May through September at various locations throughout Ohio. If you like beautiful, colorful animals and you are looking for a friendly group of people then look no further.....Ohio Pinto is the club for you!!
What is the difference between a Paint and a Pinto?
Paints and Pintos are both horses of color. Paints are strictly stock type horses with Quarter horse, Thoroughbred, or Paint breeding. Pintos, however, can be many different breeds such as Arabian, Morgan, Saddlebred, Tennesse Walking Horse, Trakhener and others. Most Pintos are registered with more than one breed/color registry. Pintos come in a size for everyone - - horses, ponies and even miniatures!
